Full Professor

Full Professor in Design, Nicolò Ceccarelli lectures at the DADU Alghero (UNISS), where he leads the animazioneDesign research unit and is president of the new Design Degree.
His passion for information architecture led him to create the international platform 2CO COmmunicating COmplexity.
His research interests encompass animation, visual and corporate design, design and crafts, exhibit design and on-line teaching and learning methods.
With his design for Play Alghero and Culturgame he has recently dealt with gamification for the dissemination of cultural heritage and of scientific knowledge.
He has held lessons and seminars and led workshops in China, Chile, Brazil and numerous European countries. Tedx speaker in Athens, he has been a speaker at SIGGRAPH, visiting professor at Istanbul’s ITU and Fullbright visiting scholar at the University of California at Berkeley.
Several of his projects and research have been selected in the ADI Design Index.
