Associate Professor

Associate Professor of Transport, dealing with mobility and transport systems planning as  integral part of the broader, more complex urban project. Research topics: urban accessibility, as the set of spatial and functional conditions that enableinhabitants to access and participate in urban opportunities; analysis, measurement and evaluation of the factors affecting the behaviour of different social groups, particularly those that affect the capability to access and use spaces and services; planning and design direction, guidance and project attention.  Collaborations with local authorities. Recent works: Agenda for Sustainable Development - Metropolitan City Cagliari;  integrated bike and pedestrian system in San Teodoro (SS); programmes of integrated interventions to improve accessibility and promote sustainable mobility (Cagliari; Alghero; Olbia; Ossi ); collaboration with the Sardinian Region and other Universities for new models of integration between mobility services.
