Margherita Solci Associate Professor Short bio Margherita Solci is Associate Professor of Mathematical Analysis (academic field MAT/05). She holds a PhD in Mathematics and Scientific Computing from the University of Pavia and carried out post-doctoral research at the École Polytechnique in Paris. Her research activity lies in applied mathematical analysis and focuses on calculus of variations, Gamma-convergence, homogenization processes and fracture mechanics. Her interests also include mathematical modelling of composite materials and structural damage, with applications to historical and archaeological built heritage. She is the author of scientific contributions published in international journals and is involved in research projects in the field of applied mathematics.
