Associate Professor

Francesco Spanedda is Associate Professor of Architectural and Urban Composition at the Department of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning, University of Sassari. He graduated in Architecture from the IUAV University of Venice with a thesis entitled “Wind Power Plant and Park at Monte Arci”, supervised by Prof. Vittorio Gregotti, and is a registered architect. He has carried out professional practice in Italy and abroad, participating in architectural competitions and commissioned projects. Since 2005, his research has focused on architectural and urban design and sustainability, with scholarly contributions and participation in academic initiatives. He currently serves as Regional Councillor for Local Authorities, Finance and Urban Planning of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia.
