Full Professor

Emilio Turco is full professor of Mechanics of solids and structures. He conducts research in the fields of metamaterial mechanics, computational mechanics, inverse problems and preservation of historical and architectural heritage. His main scientific papers and bibliometric indicators can be found on Google Scholar and on ResearchGate. He has been teaching Mechanics of solids and structures in the Department of Architecture, Design and Urban planning for over 20 years. He is the author, together with colleagues from other universities, of the didactic book Scienza delle costruzioni (in italian), McGraw-Hill 2004.
Since 1 November 2020, he has held the position of director in the Department of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning.
