Associate Professor

Camillo G.A. Tidore is a Professor of Urban Sociology in the Department of History, Human Sciences and Education (DISSUF), University of Sassari. He has been President of the Degree Course in Communication Sciences and Coordinator of the Doctorate in “Political and Social Sciences” (University of Sassari). He is currently a member of the Interdepartmental Centre NRD (Desertification Research Centre) of the University of Sassari and a member of the International Board of the Mediterranean Association of Sociology of Tourism (ASTMed). His research topics include: poverty and urban segregation; tourism and local development; urban regeneration and transformations of public space; participation for sustainable planning.
