Sara Moro PhD student Short bio Sara Moro graduated in Architecture and, since 2024, has been a PhD candidate in the XXXIX cycle in the course of “Architecture and Environment” at the Faculty of Architecture in Alghero, University of Sassari. Her research project, titled “Circular Adaptive Envelope Design,” focuses on adaptive building envelopes with an emphasis on circularity and sustainability within the AEC sector. She holds both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the DADU Department in Sassari, including one year of study at IUAV University in Venice. Her Master’s thesis centered on the regeneration of the Venice Lagoon. Sara has gained experience in interior design, museum exhibition design, and environmental regeneration. She completed internships at an interior design studio (2021) and at LERUA – Ledda Russo Associati (2024), where she contributed to projects in social housing, schools, and healthcare facilities, and participated in national and international design competitions.
