Research activities

Geophysical research is mainly conducted with Georadars and aimed at both defining the evolution of Holocene beach systems and the interaction between man and the environment, the latter mainly coastal. Significant studies have been conducted on the beaches of the Canadian Great Lakes, on those of western Sardinia and in the Tombolo di Orbetello area (Tuscany).

  • 2 Georadar systems I-Mod2 (IDS)
  • Antennas from 25, 40, 200, 400, 600 and 800 Mhz
