The University of Sassari has always worked in synergy with local schools to provide students with the necessary information and the best opportunities to choose the course of study best suited to their aptitudes.  These courses contribute to the achievement of the 30 curricular orientation hours envisaged for each school year (Guidelines on School Orientation 2023). The school may recognise the activities as PCTO. As part of the extensive programme, DADU offers thematic lectures and workshops held by our teachers for the three disciplines of architecture, design and urban planning.

In addition, there are Orientation and Tutoring Plans (POT) for Architecture and Urban Planning, and for Design, which aim to promote specific university activities and pathways, reducing the drop-out rate and encouraging the continuation of studies.

DADU is organising orientation days at the Santa Chiara complex in Alghero for the three three-year degree courses in Architecture and Project Sciences, Design, and Urban Planning. The meetings are aimed at secondary school students who will have the opportunity to learn about the study courses and how to take the admission tests, the premises and the teaching exhibitions.
The University of Sassari also organises the annual University Orientation Days, where DADU participates with lecturers, students and students, holding dedicated meetings to explore the three degree courses.

Every year, DADU organises a university commencement event for all newly enrolled students where the main services offered by both DADU and the University are explained by the administrative staff and the chairs of the study courses.
