The interaction between robots and older adults has opened new avenues for addressing aging-related challenges. From providing companionship to assisting with daily tasks and healthcare monitoring, robots have the potential to improve the quality of life for the elderly. However, these advancements raise significant questions about user acceptance, ethical concerns, and the long-term impacts on social dynamics and human connections. This presentation explores key insights gained from studies and real-world applications, highlighting successes, limitations, and the lessons learned in developing robotic solutions tailored to the needs of older people.
