Short bio

Giuseppe Onni is an Environmental and Land Engineer since 2003. He earned a PhD in Environmental Spatial Design from the University of Sassari in 2009 with a dissertation on “Touristic Forms and Social Sustainability.” Since 2012, he has been an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning (DADU) in Alghero, teaching Environmental Assessment and Decision Support at undergraduate and graduate levels. He has lectured in national master’s programs and international summer schools at Kochi University, Belgrade and Zadar. In 2024 he is a research fellow on “Social Impact Assessment of Urban Regeneration and Housing Policies” (ICAR/22), following earlier fellowships in heritage regeneration and participatory governance (2012–2018). As a freelance consultant, he advises Sardinian public and private bodies on environmental assessments (EIA, impact screening, cost–benefit analysis). He is Assistant Editor of City, Territory and Architecture.
