Short bio

Cristian Perra is a PhD student in Architecture and Environment at the Department of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning. With a philosophical background, his research focuses on the links between territorialization and temporalization, with a specific focus on how these phenomena influence power relations and the institution of the subject. He collaborates with the Chair of History of Philosophy at the University of Sassari and is a member of the editorial board of the "Giornale critico di storia delle idee." He is also among the founding members of the Research Center in Theories of Ideology, Subject and Subalternity (CRITISS). His research interests revolve around the concepts of temporality and spatiality – understood as history and territorialization – the theory of the subject, the history of concepts and ideas, the history of modern and contemporary philosophy, postcolonial studies, and the critical theory of society, with a particular focus on the work of Theodor W. Adorno.
