Short bio

Environmental and Territorial Engineer with over two decades of experience in the preparation, coordination, assessment and implementation of EU Cohesion Policy programmes, with a focus on sustainable development. He led the drafting of the 2021–2027 Sardinia ERDF Regional Programme and currently serves as thematic coordinator for environment, climate, sustainability and administrative capacity at the Regional Programming Centre. He was formerly a member of the Regional Unit for the Evaluation of Public Investments. He holds a Master’s in Environmental Economics and Management (Bocconi University) and a Master’s in Multilevel Governance and Integrated Policy Management (University of Cagliari). Since 2022, he has been pursuing a PhD in Architecture and Environment at the Department of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning. His research explores territorial development strategies, local planning and the integration of EU policies into sustainable territorial governance.
