Associate Professor

Short bio

He is an Associate Professor of Urban Planning at DADU – UNISS, in Alghero, where he teaches “Cities and Urban Transformation” and “Strategies, Policies and Tools for Sustainability.”
He earned a Ph.D. in Land Engineering from DIT – UNICA. He was a visiting scholar for eight months at the School of Anthropology, Geography and Environmental Studies (SAGES), Melbourne University (Australia), conducting research on decision support techniques and tools.
He designed and directed the International Master's Program Advanced Methods and Tools for Sustainable Planning in collaboration with Harbin Polytechnic University (China).
He has been involved in land-use, landscape, and strategic planning offices for territorial authorities and, as scientific officer, in numerous urban and territorial regeneration plans and projects. Among these, the definition of the Urban Agenda for Sustainable Development for the Metropolitan City of Cagliari stands out. His publications focus on these topics.
