Full Professor

Lidia Decandia has a PHD, is full Professor of Urban & Regional Planning at university of Sassari and has been a researcher at the CIES, UNICAL (Cosenza) and “Highly qualified Expert” of the Technical Secretariat at the Ministry for the Environment. At “La Sapienza” University, Rome, she is a member of the “Engineering-based Architecture and Urban Planning” Faculty (Urban & Regional Studies PhD curriculum). She sits on the Scientific Committees of the Reviews: Tracce Urbane e Scienze del Territorio, Rivista di Studi Territorialisti, and on those for the series: Il futuro delle città, Territorio, and the “Dottorato di Ingegneria dell’Architettura e dell’Urbanistica”. A founding member of the SdT, Società dei Territorialisti e delle Territorialiste, since 2004 to the present she has been responsible for and coordinated the scientific aspects of the MIUR, PRIN and Fondazione di Sardegna research projects. In 2008 she founded Matrica. Laboratorio di “fermentazione” urbana.
