Assistant Professor (RTDa)

Dr. M. Erden Yildizdag is a fixed-term Type A Researcher in the scientific-disciplinary sector 08/CEAR-06 – Structural Mechanics at the Department of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning of the University of Sassari. He obtained both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. From 2019 to 2022, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the International Research Center for Mathematics and Mechanics of Complex Systems (M&MoCS) at the University of L’Aquila. His research interests include finite element analysis, boundary element analysis, isogeometric analysis, variational methods, generalized continuum theory, and the modeling and simulation of additive manufacturing processes.
