How to reach Alghero

By air
For information on transfers to and from the airport, consult the Alghero airport website.

By car
Once you reach the entrance to Alghero, follow the signs for the port. There is a large car park (Piazzale della Pace) next to the Asilo Sella building, located at 35 Via Gardibali in front of the port. All of the Department's premises can be reached within a 5-minute walk from Piazzale della Pace.

By train
The terminus station of the Sassari - Alghero railway line is located some distance from the city centre. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes on foot to reach the Department's premises from the station, but it is also possible to take the “AP line” bus, or by taxi.

By bus
From Sassari it is possible to reach Alghero by bus, departing from the Santa Maria station in Via XXV Aprile, and arriving in Alghero at the Giardini Pubblici station in Via Catalogna (a short walk from the Department offices).
