Gaming Simulation as a Participatory Method in Urban Studies Asilo Sella, Via Garibaldi 35, Aula De Villa | A2b 10 September 2025 dalle 14:00 alle 19:00 SeminarioReferente – Paola Rizzi | DADU, Università degli Studi di SassariThis Atelier introduces participants to Urban Gaming Simulation (UGS) as a participatory and experiential tool for urban studies and planning. UGS combines role-play, simulation, and game mechanics to allow participants to engage in “what if” scenarios where decisions directly affect urban futures. Through structured gameplay, students will learn how gaming simulations foster critical thinking, collaborative decision-making, and community visioning.
