The workshop and networking session introduces the main aims and contents as well as results of the international, interdisciplinary project SAFE (Sustainable Accessible Future Environments 2023-2025), coordinated by the Ljubljana University, Urban Design, Slovenia. Partners were Laurea UAS, Finland; Kiel UAS, Germany; WSG University, Poland and University of Granada, Spain.

The presentation of the project will be followed by an open discussion with the participants and discussant.

Kristina Henriksson is Senior Lecturer and Project Coordinator at Laurea University of Applied Sciences in the faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. She also works on projects in the Security Management Program. Kristina’s main responsibilities are to apply for funding for international projects and to coordinate the projects thereafter.

Britta Thege is Social Scientist, scientific manager of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Gender Research and Diversity (IGD) at Kiel UAS, and adjunct professor at the Faculty of Social Work & Early Childhood Education. Responsibilities include developing RDI projects, networking, cooperation with HE institutions, and knowledge transfer. Research and teaching focus on Gender and Diversity.
