Italian Erasmus

The department has chosen to join the new Italian Erasmus programme in order to offer its students the opportunity to carry out study periods at national partner universities. The programme was established by Decree 548 of 28/03/2024 of the Ministry of Universities and Research and is implemented through conventions stipulated between Italian universities. The conventions are aimed not only at supporting the mobility of incoming and outgoing students but also at encouraging the creation of innovative and interdisciplinary study courses, strengthening cooperation between universities in Italy.

The Italian Erasmus programme promotes the mobility of students, who meet the requirements, at the various Italian universities that have signed agreements for a period of 3 to 6 months. The contribution for mobility can be up to 1,000 euros per month, depending on the availability of ministerial contributions. These mobilities enable students to experience an academic environment in an Italian city other than their own, to expand their network of contacts, both academic and professional, and to improve their personal and professional skills.

The agreements signed by the Department with the Polytechnic University of Turin, the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria and the University of Parma will enable exchange students to attend courses and take examinations, but also to undertake research for their thesis project. New agreements are being worked on and will be finalised shortly.
